I would like to start off by saying that I read an article “not so long ago”, it’s all about how to get a guaranteed job as a pilot. This article is not only false, but many have written the same fictional stories. I must admit, there are very good guidelines in some of these articles but please if you ever hear the words “Guaranteed Job” or “Guaranteed Hours” please let me know – I have plenty people who would love to hear about the same fictional dream.
When you start flying helicopters, you normally start on the R22, R44, 300 or whatever the case may be. Are these helicopters less worthy of being called helicopters than the bigger machines? Well, the answer is no.

When you finish your training, do you feel you know all that you are supposed to know? If your answer is yes, do you really understand why and how it all works?
Is all you learn just more "parrot" work, or do you really know how everything works and why it does in that manner. Therefore, I would like all to ask questions concerning anything under the helicopter topic. Anything at all, including safety, theoretical, technical etc.
There is absolutely no such thing as a "stupid" question. All questions are valid. I leave all of you with some examples of questions which might not make all that sense it’s supposed to.
